NEW YORK This summer, I determined to take a couple of weeks for a a lot-wanted getaway in southern California. I lounged by the Manhattan Beach pier, spent some high quality time with my mother and father and sister, and brought my two boys to the pockets-destroyer often known as Disneyland.

On the East Coast, Hilton Head Island , Nantucket and island resorts in Florida provide the right escape from the stress of daily life. People usually speak about traveling in Mexico whereas sipping their margarita on the personal seaside owned by their all-expense-paid resort. This isn’t travel.
